Tai Chi Chuan is useful for people to become aware of their internal clock, their breathing. When relaxed each breath for different people is a little different so it is individualized and unique. When we do things our breath changes depending on what we do. While doing a programmed set of movements called a form we tax this breathing and by learning to relax we get more everything. Think about the time when you are being pulled by something you need to get done in the near future and you are rushing through what you are doing at the present and you get out of breath and your thinking is not clear, this is poor functioning. By learning to follow your clock and training your natural breath you gain in many ways.
