I am a dental hygienist and due to my career crippled with pain, and really fancy training in soft tissue therapy and using it in the dental world as its a real problem in our occupation. I have spoken to someone that did the year long diploma course in LSSM in London. I have been looking around at the courses but worried they are not properly accredited. The LSSM course looks like a good course.

My other question is; what is the difference between sot tissue therapy and sports massage therapy?

Many thanks in advance.

obviously not very well responded! lssm, good reputation as far as i have heard, good basics. to be honest any body massage course will open the door for you to practice, it doesnt matter how good the original course is, as your technique would be changing over the coming years anyway. difference between the two, sports is a bit more vigorous, but not deep - not concentrating on injuries, soft tissue would indicate to me that its going to be treating injuries
