Hiya,

I was looking through my coursenotes the other day and noticed that the skeletal scan wasn't mentioned, only the body circuit...are they the same thing?

Thanks, Azalia

Hi Azalia, The skeletal scan comprises the energy circuit scan. So we are following the skeleton to sense the energy channels.

Chakra scan is first
Skeletal scan second

We then intuitively work at a deeper level, going back to any place we feel needs extra healing.

I think the body circuit is just another word for the skeletal scan.

Thanks Rosi [sm=hug.gif]

Out of interest (approximately) how long does a treatment last? ...oh, and also...I have to look for a sponsor, so can that be any full NFSH member or does it have to be a group leader?

I'm full of questions asI've not been able to get down to a healer support and development group (I don't drive and there isn't one in my area :()I'd be really interested to see somebody give healing because I've never seen a session the whole way through.

RE: Skeletal scan and body circuit..

Hi Azalia, If you're giving a treatment at a healing evening on a chair, we normally give a 20 minute healing as there are normally other people waiting, however, if you're working privately my healings can last anything from 45 mins to an hour. Intuitively you will know how long someone needs, and some will need longer than others. I try not to follow any pattern that says "it must be half an hour" etc, rather allow myself to be led.

I think your two sponsors (unless you only need one now) have to be full healer members, however if you're not in the area of a local healing centre, may be worth contacting the NFSH, or speaking to your tutor to see if there are any healers working in your area privately, perhaps they would like to sponsor you. It is important to get the support.

When you qualify you have the option of being put on the NFSH register, so that if someone is looking for a healer say in Essex, if you're registered, the person will be given your name as a possible healer, so hopefully there are some healers from Essex on the list and they may like to sponsor you and let you watch some sessions.

Hope that helps.

Hi Rosi,

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I know an NFSH healer who lives about 3 mins away from me (she's a friend of a friend) and unfortunately she cancelled her support group. She told me about another healer who was a little further away but said that she didn't think that group was still going.I rang the other lady today, andher group isn't running anymore either. I then phoned my tutor and she's agreed there needs to be a group in my area so she's trying to get someone to set one up soon, so hopefully I'll be able to get a bit more practise within a support and development group.

Sponsors- I'll wait and see what happens about a support group, but if I get really stuck my tutor has offered to be one of my sponsors.

Watching a session- yes I did know of the register, however it didn't occur to me that I might be able to contact someone (a possible sponsor:D) who might let me watch.

again, thanks for all the guidance anduseful tips Rosi, it really helps x
