I guess in the end it's up to your friend what to believe. But there was a time I thoroughly believed in this, thinking maybe there were just a few charlatans mixed among the genuine folk. But 'psychic surgeons' have been exposed again and again now as frauds.

What's the movie on the life of Andy Kaufman? "Man on The Moon" I believe. It's quite a moment in this true-life story of the famous US comedian, dying of cancer, when he himself thoroughly believes in a psychic surgeon, and goes there - only to see with his own eyes that it's all sleight of hand. And he laughs out loud at the irony, since Kaufman was the ultimate trickster anyway, too.

Right now I'm pretty sure it's all old-fashioned conjuring. But maybe someone has contrary, interesting evidence? What it really would need is someone with a whole list of patients who've definitely been proven to havehad tumours and what-not 'disappeared' by the psychic surgeon.

I know what you mean, but that does not only apply to psychic surgery.

There are various healing types about, that for example, profess or even guaranteeto cure cancer.

I do not believe that the physical healer performs actual surgery on the patient. I sometimes wonder whether that is done purely for show, monetary gain or ego.

But if you were to say for example that a spirit healing Guide/Doctor channels through the healer and Repairs tears in the aura, damage to the chakras and works to correct and heal the DNA level, then yes that could be classed as psychic surgery, which would heal on all levels.

Also of course ethereal psychic surgery, through intent, which you possibly know about?

What ever happened to just "HEALING” nothing added, no new age names just simple "HEALING”

My Grandfather spent some years in India when he was in the army, and went to 'observe' a few psychic surgeons. He was of the opinion that these people were complete charlatans/hoaxers/frauds (especially those who took money) but that something of what they did probably actually helped the patient by tricking them into believing that they were cured! Power of the mind etc. Invariably the people who had been treated died anyway, generally in pain, as there were few meds on offer during the 1920's, but a few seemed to improve for a short time- autosuggestion perhaps? If it is a life-threatening disease that people are seeking help for, then they will try anything.

I do not think that this will ever be the case. Most recipients for healing or psychic surgery will have tried or are still trying mainstream medicine. If perchance a miracle does happen then the doctors will just say that the medication must have finally worked.
Many of course will just say that that’s a placebo effect.

I personally belive that the only way to heal is from within and that the best person or 'surgeon' to do this is yourself.

Giving away your power to someone else only means that whatever 'surgery' they do on you, they are doing on themselves. We are all our own healers and it is time we all took responsibility for this.

I really don't mean to be at all condescending, but just asking. Do you know what we are basically meaning by "psychic surgeon"? Typically someone has a growth or at any rate something truly physically wrong with them. This is usually known materially e.g. there may be x-rays. The PS purports to be somehow putting his hands into the body, using no knife, and typically may pull something out - apparently - which can then be held in the hand e.g. the growth has been removed. Typically there'll be quite a bit of blood around.

Is this what you had?

BTW, I think I and others are just assuming this is what the thread-starter, and her friend who asked the question in the first place, had in mind.

I was very concerned about him I offered him healing I work on a
etheric level in which I heal the organs using energy spirit and my gudies/totems. but he is talking of people placing their hands in him to do this. I can not control his life but I will do my best to protect him from making a wrong move. I believe there are psychic surgeons who are evryg ood at what they do but I would like him to go to a hospital and receive etheric healing as well.

he is starting to listen but I won't sway him to my views.

I've just noticed this thread and while I know nothing about psychic surgery, just thought you'd be interested in reading this account of mental surgery, through a change of consciousness from the material to the divine.

I do psychic surgery and charge £30 for about half an hours treatment. I can do this in my clinic in colchester or from a distance.
