Hi all
While I was giving a friend a reflexology session in my therapy room, she started channeling someone who could only have been my paternal grandfather, who died 9 years before I was born. He works with me while I am giving healing, and did before the channeling session which identified him for me.
While giving Reiki with one of my Reiki students, I noticed her grandfather standing behind her. When I told her about this some time later (didn't want to scare her) she said that he often comes to her when she is giving Reiki.
Just last week I read a story about a Native American healer, who met someone identified as "Grandfather" who was the master healer.
I'm wondering now if "Grandfather" is an archetype or something similar. Could it be a spirit guide who manifests as our grandfather, if we are connecting with the Universe?
Any thoughts?
'Grandfather' could well be an archetype in this instance. Spirit guides can take any shape/form they wish, after all. It may be that the spiritual grandfathers are working with you on healing aspects at this time. There may be other messages attached to grandfathers for you to understand... such as ancestral wisdom being passed on. If you think about it, you have many, many grandfathers and grandmothers in spirit willing to pass on their wisdom.
