My husband recently had a Shiatsu massage. He feels great other than one problem.....his bowel movements have been all over the place since!
During the treatment, he felt alot of pain when pressure was put on the lower part of the side of his calf, near the ankle. At the end the guy said that due to the pain he felt in this area, there is likely to be an imbalance in the stomach area/digestive system.
We eat really well (we think) so wondered if these bowel probs are normal after a Shiatsu massage, and if there is anything he can do about it.
Any advice appreciated.

Sometimes after a treatment there may be discharges in the body that can take on a variety of manners such as bowels, eye discharge etc..
You may have a good diet but there could be an imbalance due to other factors, these occur as the body tries to get to get to balance, nuetral so to speak.
This should go away, get more treatments because there seems to be an imbalance.
