I have tenis elbow about 1 year now. I'm looking to apply Reflexology alone. Can it heal my problem? From a quick research I did, I understood that ice helps tendonitis sice there is inflammation but ice makes me worse. Heat helps me. Doesn't heat help with tendinosis? I can't understand if it's tendonitis or tendinosis. Also for tendinosis you should feel much worse the morning when you wake up. For me it's the opposite, I feel much better. What do you think I should do?

Tendinosis is simply chronic, unresolved, tendinitis. When I had acute tendinitis (described as tennis elbow, but actually as a result of wielding a heavy hammer for too long) it was 'cured' with one steroid injection. When I had a similar problem in the other arm, Bowen Technique worked within an hour of the treatment.

Have you had it diagnosed by a Dr or physiotherapist? I had tennis elbow and like Jabba steroid injections helped but I needed to have them repeated. When it got to the stage that the mere thought of the injections was making me feel sick I decided enough was enough and opted for surgery....but I had it very severely. Now I would probably try a massage oil with essential oils like chamomile and ginger..but then I wasn't a complementary therapist! I have had success with the massage oil on hip pain .

I hope you can get it sorted. Good luck

Yes I went to a doctor. I told him that hot baths and thermal waters help me and he said me to do these. He also told me to take once every day magnesium. But the problem still remains. I've heard of the benefits of reflexology and because it can be done alone, I like the idea. Also he told me that he may do me an injection in the future if the problem still remains but I don't like that idea so I'd better use reflexology if it's helpful. The best thing from what I've tried until now to make my condition better is thermal waters (it helps a lot) but the problem is that it costs and I don't have much money.

Can you give more information for massage oil? =D Is it easy to do? Btw can reflexology really help? Sorry for doing too many questions...

Find someone who does reflexology and see if it helps. I am not sure it will, but you won't know until you try.

Try transdermal magnesium spray, not from holland and barrett though, it's very low quality.

I already take magnesium. I don't think I should increase its intake even more.
