I'm trying to research reflex points that may be imbalanced or need additional work when working with a client who has tics and am struggling to find anything.

Can anyone tell me the most common reflex points for tics?

Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi Smiley
I realise you posted your question some time ago but thought I would give my ten pence worth. Hope it helps.
As you are talking about what is generally a neurological issue I would personally concentrate on the direct reflex points for; the pineal gland, the hypothalmus reflex area and the pituatory reflex. I would also take a look at the path that the liver meridian takes and manipulate reflex points along the meridian line. This is just how I would approach the condition I realise others will have different views and I would take on board all of them.Hope it helps.

Thanks for your reply Tony 🙂

Even though I completed my home study a while ago it is still very useful to know the areas that could be concentrated on as this may be something that might come up when I'm qualified.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I must add, I'm sure Tony knows this, but for anyone reading this thread the reason for working the Liver points (whether on the Chinese meridian or Western reflex systems) is that in Chinese Medicine, the Liver is associated with the flow of Qi (Ch'i). Any spasm or twitchiness is a 'Wind' pathology and is related to the Liver Qi function. So working the Liver point/s helps to reduce that Wind.

Thanks for adding that Reiki Pixie. I use quite a lot of work on the chinese meridians in my treatments so that is definitely useful to know 🙂
