🙂 Have an interesting problem here re a possible treatment I can do for some friends of mine. A lady I know has a slipped disc on both sides and has been waiting for surgery for 3 years! It has been getting progressively worse and still no date for operation. Would reflexology be of benefit in helping her with the pain she is suffering and to prepare her for the operation? I would assume I would need doctors permission to treat etc. Any advice welcome as to treat or not.
Cheers

RE: Prolapsed discs both sides!

Hi Holisticman,

Reflexology would absolutely be of benefit. I am a student of Gentle Touch TM Reflexology and one of my case studies had a prolapsed disc. She had been in such pain she often couldn't get upstairs to bed and on occassion even had to sleep on the landing floor because she could not get to bed. After a couple of treatments (particularly paying attention to her skeletal system) and some stress busting techniques the pain was minimal. Eventually, to cut a long story short, my client went for another MRI scan and the consultant was so amazed. He said " I don't know what you've been doing but whatever it is, keep it up!". I cannot claim that it is down to her having reflexology but there is a strong possibility and I have had some amazing results during my training. Good luck to your client,
Lisa x
