Hi there,
One of my case studies always feels tenderness on her kidney reflexes. She has no problems with her urinary system, although there is family history of kidney disease. I read that eyes and kidneys lie in the same zone and therefore I wondered if this tenderness was possibly due to the glaucoma and cataracts my client has had in both eyes.Any thoughts? If so, and as the client has to use eye drops for life, should I continue to work on these reflexes and use a hard or light pressure?
Thanks.
Sx
RE: Link between kidneys and eyes in zone 3?
Hello Sarah
You will find this case study on cystitis by Ann Gillanders very interesting, because in it she talks about the link between the eye and kidney reflexes (being in the same zone). Good on you for spotting that! There is some great information that Ann shares here

I think it's important to keep on treating the kidney reflex as you would in a normal treatment, and personally I'd go gently on it while it's sensitive but maybe return there at another point during the treatment. I once had a treatment when the practitioner went harder on a certain area because I had jumped and said it felt sensitive, and I found it a real turn off! If you want to go harder, at least check with her that it's OK first 🙂 And good luck! Hopefully others will have some input too, I'll look out for it with interest.
