Welcome to the forums.

I have a copy of "Foot Reading: Secrets of the Feet Revealed" by Renee Tanner.

I did not think much of the book when I first received my copy in 2001. It is just a reference book and needs quite a lot of experience as a Reflexologist to interpret the several descriptions offered for each 'secret' of the feet. I have never used this book and, until your posting, I have only ever looked at the book the once when I received it! I must stress that this is just my opinion and that you might find the book immensely useful (My wife, who is also a Reflexologist, like me, has found no need of this book)

I do not know of the book "Reading Toes"

Really interesting and put across in a light, fun way with lots of cartoon drawings. Tells you all about the different aspects of the feet and how they reflect our personality. Not dear either.

thanks for all the informtion I got the Language of the Feet and I love it. That is the reason I wanted more books on reading the feet .
The problem with buying on line, is the cost of the post sometime make it more exoensive then buying a new books. On amazon no one wrote any review on this books.
Hope you can understand my spelling , but I am a dyslixic.

I have it and see it as a bit of fun.....sometimes i let my clients borrow it so that they can look at there partners feet etc etc, they are normally quite impressed with it but from a reflex point no its not much help!

No, not so, if you shop around.

With the second hand books you can sometimes get them for a couple of pounds. I got the big Reflexology Book (the practioner one) for £20 instead of £35, it was brand new and even with postage it was still cheaper.

Also if you go to:

you can search for what you want and it comes up with the cheapest first. Even with postage it is cheaper. I hardly buy any from Amazon these days, they aren't much cheaper.;)

I've got the book and agree with friend Tigerbee on this one. Having said this I've been on courses with Renée and she's an amazingly accurate foot reader from a reflexology point of view. I think it's something she's acquired from 30 odd years' experience!

And, Siobhan, Renée is a very special person with a great insight into feet but her book is not the most useful. It rests on my bookshelf getting dustier each day.[&:]
