Hi there
I am new to reflexology and still a student.
One of my case studies keeps getting a cold sensation in her upper arms and shoulders when I work the digestive system. She has no other issues in this area.
Has anyone else experienced changes in temperture such as this or have any idea why it might occur?
Thanks

Welcome here Hannah.
When energy moves it can cause sensations such as tingling, warmth, cold, aches and pains even. Relax, it is whatever you are doing with your skill causing the energy to move. You, should be totally at ease with this then you can explain this to the client. When client can understand this movement then they can relax and allow the process. Otherwise subtle fear may keep them in resistance and complicate things unnecessarily.
All good.
