Hi
I was just wondering what other Reflexologists do when giving a course of treatments. I have a lady who will have had a course of 6 treatments next week and i would like to evaluate how she thinks the course is going. She is seeing me for infertility / PCOS.
I don't want to carry on indefinately so does anyone have some questions in particular that they ask their clients apart from "So hows it going?"
I suggested a course of 6 to start with and there have been some positive results.
Thanks
C.LX
I have clients that I have been seeing regularly for 20 years! The may only visit 4 times a year, but they do so as they feel that the treatment I give them keeps them in 'fine fettle'! I usually do a course of treatments when they first attend the clinic, say 6 or 8 over 3 or 4 weeks, then do maintenance treatment every 12 weeks. My 'regulars' pay my bills!
I have never asked for an 'evaluation', I just generally make a note in their file about how they are feeling and if there is anything they particularly want me to focus on.
I see clients every 4 weeks and don't do the 'book 6 treatment' method. I just re-book them.
If you do wish to evaluate, talk about the reflexes that show up time and time again, relating it to her conditions. Indicate if their has been improvement, and give her chance to add her findings.
Then in light of her having pcos, suggest that she returns on a monthly/fortnightly basis to maintain the condition.
Then leave it in her court.
