Your responses were so helpful last time, I'm hoping you can answer my questions about client numbers too so that I can try and work out whether this is a viable employment option for me! I'd like to know how many people are likely to be repeat clients and how often they would come for a treatment and how many "one offs" there are likely to be. With the cost of a treatment I would imagine lots of people would just have one rarely which would mean I would need a huge number of clients to keep me busy. Do people find that this is the case or do people tend to come regularly e.g. Weekly, fortnightly, monthly?
Many thanks in advance for any insight you can give me.

It's a 'how long is a piece of string' question! If you are solely operating as a reflexologist, then your options may be limited. I see some of my reflexology clients (I have 10 +/-) on a monthly basis, and have done for years, but I cannot rely on them for an income, which is why I have trained in other therapies.

I have a family friend who only offers reflexology (2 afternoons a week and Saturday mornings), but also has another part-time job, in a school, to supplement her income. She prefers it that way, as initially, when she was first offering reflexology (20 years ago) she found that her hands and fingers were becoming painful. Mixing two occupations seems to work for her.

Thank you for your reply again. I've decided to bite the bullet and enrol on a course. Reflexology won't be the only thing I do, I'm a full time mum and a teacher too, but hopefully this will give me a little more flexibility. Thanks again for your help.
