Hi Everyone
New to the forum and i'm desperate for someone who is a permanent based physio. Not a freelance once as my condition is long term and ideally requires long term treatment.
Is there anyone who specialises in trigger points in the neck and shoulder area. Mines are deep and need a lot of work.
I have been to a myofascial release therapist which helped temporarily but i found physio better due to the mobility and mobilisaion aspect of it.
I've been diagnosed with myofascial synfrome of the neck and shoulder which is now affecting most of my back aswell.
I can't sit at my desk for long and my employer hasn't been much help.
I have tried absolutely everything in terms of complimentary therapies from chiro, osteo, myo, to physio.
I have still yet to try trigger point injections which is the last resort but my appointment isn't till May 2014 which is ridiculous.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Not sure there are many physios on this site. Have you tried the The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy | The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy website?

Have you ever tried Bowen Technique? Bodywork doesn't have to be 'deep' to be effective.
