Hi, this is my first thread, I am wondering if you know of a stool I could use for my domiciliary practice at present I use a tripod fishermans stool and it is causing me back ache and gluteus area down the side of my leg.
It isn't the stool but the position I sit in I believe and also driving to and from different places does not help.
I would be very grateful, thanking you in advance.
If space isn't an issue, what about a folding Balans stool? I use one and it's brilliant. Multi Kneeling Stool by Varier (formerly Stokke) - you could probably find one much cheaper with a bit of searching!
Thank-you so much for your swift reply. I did think about balan chair, however, I wondered if it would be too heavy to carry as I have my equipment to carry also.
I carry (in my car) the stool, couch and large duffel style bag on wheels full of covers/linen. It usually take me three trips to set up - luckily I only have two clients who live in multi-story flats, and they usually come down to the car park to help! All this stuff fits quite cosily into my little SmartCar called Suzy!!!

For back pain, physiotherapy is always a better option as it helps the muscles mobility and thus give relief to all. One of my relatives was suffering from back pain but after taking treatment at Mississauga Physiotherapy Clinic, his pain is no more.
