I think i have thoracic outlet syndrome....could osteopathy help?
RE: TOS anyone?
Yes, osteopathy is very likely to help with thoracic outlet syndrome and if I'm honest I'm struggling to think of any other options - Acupuncture, maybe?

Yes, acupunucture could also help. As well as Shiatsu or Bowen Techinque. I would think that Alexander Technique could also help.

RE: TOS anyone?
hi bambam,
it depends what's causing the compression of neurovascular bundle... if it's muscular e.g. tightness in pec minor or anterior scalenes, then a good remedial massage therapist should be able to treat it and provide you with ongoing maintenance advice. if it's about joint dysfunction then that's an osteopath's domain. the trick is in getting the right diagnosis.
would you mind letting us know what you did find effective?
warm regards
Henry
RE: TOS anyone?
I have TOS, caused by two cervical ribs. I've always been worried that I could make this worse. Has anyone got the same and tried anything that helps? The only thing that feels good at the moment is a hot bath! 😀
RE: TOS anyone?
Raindrop therapy (application of specific therapeutic grade essentaial oils)is great for things like scholiosis, which is essentially a curvature of the spine. The oils used work on both the nerves and the muscles, starting with an oil blend formulated to resonate at 42mHz - the same frequency as the human skeleton. Additional oils may also be added in to the treatment based on individual need.
Additionally, hypnotherapy and EFT are very effective for pain relief.
Pls feel free to PM me if you would like further information.
