Had mri-Multi level disc protrusions level L5/S1,L4/5 and L1/2. Neve root oedema of L4. I now have a tear of the medial meniscus, knee, caused they say by my untreated back problem. Been seeing an osteopath reguraly for the last two years without much lasting effect. Is it worth carrying on with her or seek other treatment?. Just included small piece of the mri report. Had major surgery for broken pelvis back in 1990, doctors dismissed my pain until mri this april, still they do not advice any treatment.

I think you are on the right route in choosing osteopathy but it needs to be said that maybe you might want to think about trying a different osteopath?
Different practitioners will always have differing strengths and we don't always end up with the right practitioner first time around.
Kind regards

Henry
