I'm just in the middle of taking the exams for ITEC level 3 diplomas in Holistic Massage and Anatomy & Physiology - results to come later this summer - fingers crossed! - and I am seriously considering moving on to do a degree in osteopathy, starting September 2006. I'm a mature student, aged 43, and a single parent.

Am I mad? Has anyone else out there embarked on this training in similar circumstances? Anyone got any thoughts, advice or suggestions?

Also, the college I am considering is the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, Kent. Any feedback re the college and its degree course.

Thank you in advance for your replies!

An update from way back when ...

I went for it! Got my ITEC holistic massage, then spent a year on ITEC sports massage, and was accepted to study 4 years full time for the BSc Hons in Osteopathy at the ESO at started in September 06.

I am loving it so much - though it is more work, and harder work, than I ever thought possible! Just another 3.5 years to go ...

🙂
