I was just wondering if anyone does this or has had this type of reading?

I'm asking because this is something I've become more and more interested in, following a rummage around on the 'net in a quest to discover why my forehead gets spotty. At first I thought it was linked to periods, but ever since reading up on face reading, having spots in this area is linked to digestive problems and this rings true for me.

Calla Lilly, often does short courses on face reading. You can sign up for their newsletter to be informed on when the next one is.

Many thanks for kindly providing the link , I've just added it to my favourites list and doesn't one of the men look like a cross between Paul Mccann (sp) and Corrie's Richard Hillman LOL 😀

Chinese face reading? 😮 sounds like another money maker 😉

In all seriousness, to my knowledge the forehead is related to 'heart' energies ( in chinese medicine ) and 'reading the face' is just another tool we use in diagnosis.
As this is a fire element it could pass to the small intestine, hence some will show a digestive complaint.

What is the quality of the spots? are they red, white, dry, greasy, is there puss?
What is the quality of the skin around the forehead area?

Could well be Indo, shame my mum who is oriental ( I remember her telling me when my eldest was a baby that he had wind due to a 'blueness' of the upper lip area) didn't cotton on to it as she'd probably be a milionaire by now, LOL:D

It's strange that you mention the heart energies, as I have cynanosis which affects my feet and hands. The spots are usually in the centre of my forehead, red, dry and while they form a head, very little pus is in them. The skin around my forehead is very congested with blackheads :oand slightly oily.

Hello Calla,

there are different maps for face reading...so I give you the explanation I know... throughout my training I was taught that anything located with foreheads most likely (but not exclusively) signifies a yangming pathology, i.e. Stomach and Large Intestines... which explains your digestive complaints? 🙂

Hope that helps!

Ju

Your post has helped a lot Ju  thank you. It's my intestines in particular that I have problems with and I find it fascinating how this can manifest itself on the forehead.:)

Experts say that in China, good doctors can identify 70% of a person’s health problems by examining the patient’s face. The most wonderful aspect of this diagnostic philosophy is that it can be used to prevent illness. Experts say the health conditions indicated by face readings aren’t set in stone. They’re simply warning signs. You can heed these signs and make adjustments to protect your long-term health.
