Hi Chris!

I'm not Tui Na trained, but thought I'd say hi anyway... I like your website! I didn't really know what Tui Na was before today, so thanks for the information, I'd be quite interested in finding out more about it!

Hi Curious-George!

It still amazes me that people don't know about Tui Na as most massage therapies have been derived form its system.
Siatsu is Japanese form derived from tui na, but very watered down with a different philosophy.
In the beginning siatsu practitioners weren't allowed to practice without a tui na ( amno practitioner present ) then eventually it was recognised as its own system for health. ( and a little exposer by Marilyn Monroe!)
Tui Na is sometimes nicknamed 'needle-less' acupuncture as the medical training, therory and application is the same. Very powerful stuff if applied correctly.

Hi Elixir, I have a couple of sarahs publications which proved helpful in the early days of training.
I trained with Maria Mercati at the Bodyharmonics Centre, Gloucestershire.

Hi Elixir

I noticed on your website you are at Womad festival this year. Me and a colleague are also there as stallholders offering Thai, Tuina and Indonesian massage. Pop by and say hi. We will be wearing yellow t-shirts with a red foot symbol.

And not forgetting hello to Indo!

Best Wishes

Hi Indo

Come and say hi. There will be one specific healing area and my colleague is Alex of course, so I'm sure she would like to see you.

Best Wishes

Hey Reiki Pixie Dave!

You know I am a tui na purveyor! Have you studied it too?

I am studying shiatsu at the mo and find it very different but a very good complement to the tui na.

Hows things??

Things are good. Just finished writing a 36 hour (contact time) Thai Massage Certificate (foundation level) course information booklet. May do Diploma (practitioner level) if it succcceeds (how many c's in succeed). Next step accreditation.

Saw Alex today and blasted her with Qigong Healing as I'm finishing off the case studies to obtain a Medical Qigong Diploma. Have Qigong/Tuina certificate already. Studied with

Will be starting acupuncture in August at the Bodyharmonics Centre. Medical Qigong, TCM tongue & pulse diagnosis, and my other quals was enough to enter the course.

When will studying ever end?

Hope you are well.

Best Wishes
