Hi There, i have just finished an NLP course and i am excitedly fitting it into my current practice.
does any one have any experience using NLP with people suffering panic attacks? which model / approach would be best?
i currently work with many people with panic attacks and use a variety of methods but wanted to use more NLP with them.
thanks for your time
RE: NLP for Panic Attacks
Hi Louise,
Well, for me, first I'd attempt to discover the underlying drivers (states) behind the panic attacks, then work with those, using whatever seemed appropriate. For example, visual squash, timeline, or drop through
That said, my preference would be to use a couple of other ideas from other methods - notably the campfire process from Bandon Bays' 'The Journey' (I don't know where that came from originally, but given that she was a Tony Robbins assistant, I guess it probably qualifies as NLP!!) and even more so EFT, which I know you know about.
There's also a method I've just started using, which is fundamentally NLP, but you probably won't hear about it in any NLP course. Check out for more information; (although you need to be prepared to have a lot of what you've learned in NLP poo-pooed by these guys, they do seem to be getting great, simple results - it really does work)
I'd be interestesd in hearing about the methods you already use.
Hope this helps and all the best
Jonathan

Hi Louise
The circle of excellence is quite good. Are you familiar with it?
Kind regards
