Can let me know how I go about finding a qualified NLP practitioner in my area (Manchester/Bolton). I've done a google search but this has just confused me. Also, is NLP something which needs to received in person or, like life coaching, can it be done by phone?
Thanks
Mich

Mich
well first of all welcome to HP. I hope that you'll enjoy being here. Great fun!
NLP practitioners are all over the place. But I am sure that you know yourself that many therpaists and professionals do not yet have a website and so they are untaceable even through google or any other search engine.
There a few NLP practitioners here on HP and I do some NLP as well. It depends though very much why and what for you are seeking the help of an NLP practitioner.
I tend to do my life coaching, with a lot of NLP thrown into it, both by phone and face to face. Personally I do not find any difference between the two approaches; I think it very much a matter of personal choice and how you personally feel more comfortable.
I hope this helps.

I can't help you with the bolton area, but I too do NLP and yes many people do it by phone rather than in person.
It may also be worth emailing who are the organisation I trained with. They may have a list of people they have training who live/work in your area.
Love
