Interesting article and comments - although I have some misgivings about the Professor generally...lol
Homeopathy - does it work?
As someone who has always been fairly sceptical of the claims for homeopathy but still remains open to the possibility of it being beneficial, I found this article in today's Independent to be of interest.

Does it work?
Well you can invent a study to prove anything...
My experiences are more than enough to know that it works. Yes the interaction of a homoeopath is important but even without that the remedy still works. As I always say - one day science will catch up with belief....
Sorry to be pedantic but the only thing that annoys me about the whole topic now is that we can no longer seem to spell it correctly. The root of the therapy is HOMO meaning similar or like. Without this root then it makes no sense.
Love and light,

An interesting article ... but as usual doesn't eplain why or how homeopathy works so well on babies an animals, who don't care about the placebo effect.

Didn't I post here about the origin of the word coming from the Green 'homeo'. Where did my post go?
The word homeopathy is derived from the Greek word "homeo", meaning like or similar and "pathos" meaning disease or suffering.
