Hope this is the best place?
Im a lover of thought filed therapy, TFT. Its not quite so well known as EFT but it suits me better. Does anyone on here dabble? Im fancying taking mine further and enrolling onto a weekend course or even studying it to diploma level.
Does anyone have any good advice re this, Im aware of and in FB contact with Janet Thompson who is well known in the TFT world.
Thanks
I have heard of TFT but could you breifly explain the differences? Why do you prefer it?
Not quite so sure it's not as well known. I would say that in terms of clients, yes, they will have heard more of EFT than TFT, but in terms of EFT practitioners, most will (or should) have learnt how EFT originated from Gary Craig's learning of TFT.
I don't think it's possible to say that one is really preferable to the other as they are essentially the same techniques, just that TFT works to a prescribed set of tapping points for a particular issue, whereas EFT was an adaptation to that, just including all the tapping points for any issue, based on the principle that if you tap on points that don't need tapping for a particular issue, it doesn't have any negative effect on the session so, in principle, time is saved by not having to look up a set routine for an issue, as you can just go ahead and tap all the points.
Having learn EFT and FreewayCER, I find they are both great at treating issues. The difference between these two are that, with EFT, you aim to work with the client to find the root cause of the issue (sometimes this can take a while), whereas FreewayCER allows you to tap on the issue as it was last experienced (or most memorably experienced if preferred) and it naturally propagates back to the root cause by itself (which can be tested afterwards if necessary). In that respect, FreewayCER can offer more speedy resolution of an issue as it cuts out the digging around on complex issues. I would recommend TFT, EFT or FreewayCER to anyone.
