Hi,
Has anyone ever brought a Light and Sound Mind Machine?
If so, are they any good?
Im hoping they may help fatigue or pain ?
thanks
I never owned one, but tried one at a conference I attended some years ago - and know a couple of people who had these "Mind Machines" - I didn't experience anything particularly profound during my taster (though admittedly it was very brief, just a few minutes) and the feedback I've heard from others has not been earth-shattering - especially considering the relatively high price. I think there are better and cheaper ways to deal with things like stress, fatigue and pain - e.g. self-hypnosis, hypnotherapy/relaxation CDs (though you may need to try a few until you find the one you like), EFT, meditation etc.

Have a look at the Jetcityorange website. The chap there enjoys messing with binaural beats, and there are loads of mp3 files for download which are designed to affect the brain, slow it down, speed it up, etc. And all you need is an mp3 player.
Another site is the cybershaman site. There are a load of more experimental sound files on there.
Of course, you don't get the flashing lights with these, but they are free.
Hi I have had a photosonix inner pulse machine. I hve not used it very much but cant say I am overly impressed. I am going to try and establish a routine for the next few weeks to see if I feel differently. Would need to say I am still drawn more to medtation CD's and silent meditation than i am to the flashing lights and binaural beats. I dont use it for pain relief though so cant comment on that.
