Hello. Yes, I've heard of it [via their website] and had a brief look into it earlier this year. I admit to still being confused about what it involves. It's one of those treatments which seems to be shrouded in secrecy (a la Lightning Process) - so it wasn't easy to find out more about it. I'm guessing that like Lightning Process it's based in CBT and NLP. There's a thread on HP here about Lightning Process.

Sorry I can't help. I did try and find out about it, but didn't get very far.

Hi there

Like Ava, I have heard of it and have made similar assumptions. I believe it works much better for someone newly diagnosed - so it wasn't going to be any use for me as I had the ME/CFS for eleven years.

There are several rasons why the body starts to shut down - whether the trigger was viral, stress, trauma, adrenal burnout, food intolerances, etc and this needs to be looked at by a professional to get to the underlying causes and deal with those.

Best of luck in getting it sorted.

Thanks for your replies - I met a couple at a party recently and both had ME and used the therapy and had made really good progress!
She had been bed bound for 7 years!

Anyway through trawling and trawling I found a lady who works with children and teenagers with other therapies - couldn't get hold of the Mickle therapist nearest to us!

Just wanted to jump in here to say that imo Mickle is a bit like the Emperors new clothes.

I once had a "Mickle" therapist come to me asking to rent one of my rooms.

he couldn't seem to tell me what the treatment was only what it wasn't...it wasn't hands on, it wasn't a talking therapy??????? but not once did he give me any idea what it was. I wasn't inclined to want him in my place. If he couldn't be transparent I didn't want him there.

He was going to charge £100 a session.

That was four years ago.

We have a receptionist who's son has/d cfs and (before she started with us) she took her son to this guy, parted with over £1000 and no change...at all.

By all intents and purposes from my receptionists account it sounded like it was a poor CBT that was being done.
