😮 Oh my, well I just qualified in Hypnotherapy last month and I've done lots of sessions whilst training and since qualifing, but tonight i did my first regression ..... with a client suffering from anxiety steming from childhood !!
It went really well and he was very pleased ... having cried for the first time in 12 years whilst under .... he said he felt a weight had lifted !! I'm going to see him again.
I'm left feeing half pleased and half terrified .... watching him was fasinating .... I've been PLR myself so have felt it from the inside so to speak, but to see someone "feel stuff" was amazing !! It's absolutely brought home to me the responsibility that comes particularly with this kind of work !!
Just wanted to share !!

:hippy:Hello Meridionmoon,
I Have been regressed myself, but the person doing it was worried because my will power was stronger than his, i knew what i wanted from it was just conformation, but he said i was to strong for him yet he had no problem with my friend,
he told me to go to a spiritulist church because i knew to much dont ask me why he thought that . but i am a counsellor and when you deal with people on a personal level like that the responsibilities come with it, we have to be insured i dont know about you ,but the norm now is if you are dealing with people you have to be insured,
take care
Yes first time for regression is one you will always remember, but you have to start somewhere and that sounds like it went very well indeed. Take it slowly, I always remind clients that what they come across may not be what they expect. The reason for this, is some people get rather upset and have difficultly in shaking off that upset for a few days. So I think it is important while under regression to pin point a few happy moments. Now that's not always that easy to find, but if you are new at this, it is a good habit to get into. If you are aware of this, then you will be fine.
well done, what an achievement and may your confidence and delight grow and grow
