Hi,
Just wondered if anyone could recommend an oil or cream that would work well with very hairy men?? I did a massage for a client last week and used so much oil because of the hair and found it quite hard. Any ideas??
Many Thanks
Claire
Have you ever thought of using talc?
I have used talc before, but I find it really hard to use.
Tui Wax is good.

Talc is out then, and I have to agree with Aromababe, the Tui waxes are fabulous.

Hairy massage oil
Hi - There's an oil called Chemovine (Google it - plenty of places stock it now), specially made for massaging hairy bods. I've not tried it but a friend & sometime colleague tells me it's good. Alternatively, you could try leaving your client(s) clothed, then you don't have to worry about it but that depends if your massage is suitable for that or not

Hi Chazaitch
Welcome to HP - and thanks for your suggestion. It is always a difficulty for massage therapists.

Which oil were you using at the time?
My two cents: tui waxes are great, and you shouldn't have to use any more because of hair.
Failing that, you could just give him a quick shave beforehand-only kidding!!!
It would be interesting to hear which oils you were using though?
Naqi Ultra is very good for hairy folk. It soaks in well and doesn't leave a residue which makes it better than oil.
I find it good to work with and as a bit of a gorilla myself I find it works well on me.
Various stockists such as Mobilis and Physique.
Lotion for the hairy ones,
Schupp is one of the best ive tried and ive tried a few. Its also got some good things in it like, camomile, aloe vera, and vit E. Its also very reasonably priced.
