Last night I was doing a full body aromatherapy massage. When I massaged my client's arms and then legs she had goose pimples but said she did not feel cold. I have never come across this before and wondered what caused it and if anyone else had seen it? Thank you,
Lily of the Valley

I previously posted this thread on oct 29th so I am trying again! Please has anyone else had this experience?
Thank you,

I've merged your two posts into one thread, lily of the valley, and edited the duplicate text, which I'm afraid isn't permitted.

Sorry I can't answer your query though, but hopefully someone else will be able to. 🙂

Hi there,
if you wikipedia goosebumps it will give you a good description. If there are no other underlying medical conditions, it could just be their response to your touch. Some people get goosebumps if they are lightly stroked etc.

I was going to say that as a client, I sometimes get goosebumps while being massaged, especially if the touch is soft. It's a sensual thing, nothing to do with being cold.

Hi ya LOTV

Goosebumps from a oriental medicine point of view is a sign of Qi (energy) flow. Perfectly natural phenomenon.

Best Wishes
