Hi

I have a double booking tonight and have been thinking of doing the consultation first for the IHM and then for the client to take a break and recover from the first treatment before carrying out the second consultation for swedish massage. I don't want her to step outside my door after having 2 relaxing treatments feeling light headed.

Just wondered what everyone else does in this situation.

Many thanks.

I would do the consult first then run both the treatments together so that it flows nicely - I wouldn't do a full length for both, but adapt it so that she experiences both therapies. To avoid lightheadedness, give her some seated recovery time with a large glass of water before she goes back to face the world.

I agree that one consultation should suffice - it might be an idea to change the routine slightly for the last treatment and finish off with legs and feet - this way will help to ground your client I always end my massages by holding the feet, which I suppose is a similar thing.

Have a nice evening.

Love Binah

Thanks Jabba and Binah, will do this tonight.

I forgot to say that I am using a portable massage chair for the head massage and then couch for the swedish massage.
