Hi, I am an itec qualified Holistic Massage therapist and in the near future I would like to add to my skills so that I can offer my clients different types of massage techniques.

I was thinking of maybe going down the Ayurvedic route and have been looking at a website called Ayurveda Pura, they offer short courses. Has anyone had any experience of this company or attended their courses?

If anyone can reccomend any courses in the london/surrey area I would very much appreciate it. The other area that interests me is Thai Herbal Compress massage, any ideas where I could learn to do this?

Thankyou,Kimx

Hi there - you could also try out a company called Tri Dosha - I know they can offer courses in the UK too.

Best of luck

I trained with tri-dosha. They use compresses in part of the training.

you can also do thai bag massage at Southampton at Helen McGuiness centre.

I've not done any training with this company but a friend went on one of the weekend retreats and said it was very good. As well as retreats they also run training courses.

I feel very drawn to going to India Kerala perhaps and studying there. Does anyone know where you can learn massage techniques, shirodhara etc. in southern India.
