You could try The Healing Tent, they are based in East London I think. They run wellbeing days periodically throughout the year and are always on the lookout for volunteers. I think you'll need insurance though.

Insurance would be a definite need for any voluntary massage work, just in case! You could try looking into various Hospices, a lot of them use voluntary complementary therapists. I'd imagine local sports clubs and teams in less wealthy areas would appreciate a voluntary therapist too, especially if you are qualified in deep tissue massage, this might suit you more than Hospices. Good luck! Should be plenty of opportunity down in London.

If you're at a loose end over Christmas, perhaps you could register as a volunteer therapist at one of the Crisis homeless shelters. Or speak to Volunteer Services at your local hospital.
