I'm new here and I was hoping someone could help me.
Has anyone had a trade test interview for a Massage Therapist job in a Spa?
I really want to apply for the job, but I am apprehensive about the trade test, I worry if I don't get the job it's because they think I'm terrible at massage and I'll lose my confidence.

Hiya, an interview does make the situation seem more nerve racking. Treat the trade test like you would treat a new client that you were massaging for the first time. Ground yourself, take a deep breath and just do what you do. I am sure that you have had positive feedback from your massages already. Think positive and visualise yourself getting the job. If you don't get the job then you could ask for some feedback. If you don't get it then you may just not be a match for that spa so try not to take it personally.
I've done a few trade tests in the past,some jobs I got and some I didn't.

How long do they often like you to massage for ? Is it usually a back massage ?

It is usually 30 mins but some may be for longer. You could always ask before hand how long it will be so you can tailor the session.
