Hi is the Level three the normal Swedish Massage certificate you get , it's just that i have found a course that i like athough it is pricey~ will have to save up first lol, and it doesn't mention the VTCT or ITEC, if someone wouldn't mind taking a look for me please as i don't know much about it yet, does this look like a good course?

Thankyou:)

Look's like this is an IIHHT (International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies) course which is affiliated to VTCT.

Level 3 is usually the practitioners course.

Good luck

I agree with Lesley - and yes it does look pricey. The IIHHT (VTCT) courses are often run by local community colleges who run the course costing roughly £100-£150 may be worth a look at them

I agree that there is a huge difference in the costs of courses. Some private courses may be particularly expensive. It's not necessarily true that you get what you pay for as some courses in local authority colleges may be subsidised or funded in some way.

The only thing I will say about courses on the 'cheaper' side is that you do tend to get a higher drop out rate. My course was for two years and started off with 16 people. We were assured that as it had been Government funded it would run however many people were on the course. However, by the end of the first term of the second year, there were only two of us left and we were told that the course would end (even though we had just forked out for our complete kits of aromatherapy oils. We kicked up a bit and it was eventually agreed that they would run the course for one day a week, instead of the original two.
