Hi guys
I'm (another) newbie looking to get into sports massage from scratch. I've been trawling the net looking for info and have read just about every post on here that I can find but I still have a few questions.
With out sounding ignorant, what's the point of the level 3 courses out there? Is it purely a stepping stone to further training? Are you completely restricted to pre/post event massage or is there a use for the level 3 course in other areas?
I was also wondering how exactly the case studies work. If you can't treat injured clients, how do you come up with a "treatment" plan without having anything to treat?
I'm a total novice to all things massage and I'm looking to do it as a bit of a side line to my current role but I'm trying to get my head around what I will/won't be able to do and where I could take things in the future.
Thanks in advance!
