Hi All!
We're having difficulty getting our holistic massage therapy business off the ground!
We figured maybe adding to our offerings could help - my wife's going on a Deep Tissue Massage course to expand skills 😎 and I know she wants to get Chair Massage under her belt too because that may be a nice way to get people through the door... doing half a day of chair masage at local fairs or in shops here and there could help get people through the door for the real thing.
So I'm wondering if anyone can help me find a really good massage chair? I don't know anything about it so if anyone does, recommendations and pointers would be much appreciated!!!!
Also, how is business going for any other Holistic Massage therapists out there?
Thank you 😮
Joe
IMO, massage chairs at fairs/shops etc are not the lure they were quite a few years ago, and even then, people that will have a chair massage usually will not covert over to a full appointment, an empty massage chair doesn't really attract attention these days since most people have seen one (I remember when they were a novelty, people used to stop and stare at the chair and be interested is seeing what it was like). BUT if you are having a stand at a fair, having a chair is more interesting than just a few brochures.
I think Indian Head Massage is an easier option, you don't need a special chair, any sturdy chair will do, and people don't end up with face cradle face. You can put a bit more shoulder arm work in it than usual and get people to appreciate how you work major muscles, plus they are sitting upright and people can see the blissful expression - that gets a lot more interest than a massage chair.
Now we are discuss about the Massage so we can not forget about the Massage chairs it is a part of massage and it will depends on which type of chairs we used for massage...
