I am looking for a fast low cost way to get a accredited qualification. Ideally something like ITEC. When I say fast I mean I don't want to attend lots of classes. I don't mind doing maybe 10 classes.

I know how to massage and I am know about A&P and health and safety. So what I am looking for is a basic course with a hard exam(practical and theory) that is well recognised. I also do really care about getting any info on how to run a buisness. I am just looking for a bit of paper that said my massage is safe and good quality.

Thanks for any advice or help you can offer.

I have checked out Itec and although lots of dead ends there some options. I can travel anywhere in uk or even abroad. I plan to research but just though a forum would provide useful info. I was not sure if itec bus only option or best option.

If you want my opinion, ITEC over VTCT, the reason, ITEC give you exams, and seem to police their schools very well so that they all teach to a minimum standard, whereas VTCT work mainly on the teacher ticking a box to say the learner has achieved, and some of their 'schools' are teaching QCF quals in as little as a day, with little policing. I used to teach VTCT courses and i have very little time for them, and wont have until they prove themselves. From my perspective, the better trained an individual, the better it is for our profession.

ITEC still have schools that offer intensive type courses, and if you have experience already you wouldn't go wrong trying this route.
