:)Hi just wanted to post that I ran my first baby massage class today. I qualified in December and now 6 mums attending my first class which is running for 5 weeks. It was just such a lovely class this morning and great to do something different. I hope that I will be able to run classes on a relatively regular basis as it was great fun and they all seemed to enjoy it. So I am very pleased today!:)

Hi

How much do you charge for baby massage class? I have the qualification but have never charged for classes yet.

Hi Bexx,

I also just started running my first payed baby massage classes this week. Both of my classes are great and I have a big group of lovely ladies and lovely little babies. I found 2 of the babies in both classes were not happy during the first class because that was tricky, but assisting them with different holding techniques seamed to work. I also have twins in one class, so that's tricky. I ended up holding one twin for most of the class because he was too tired while his sister got a massage.

It's loads of fun!

Lea

Hi thanks for all your replies. I have just done my second week and it was just as good - if not better really. My only problem is that I am adding to my course material every week - I've written it all and then think oh I'll just add that bit of information. I'm sure it'll be easier when I run the next one as I'll have it all prepared already.

But it is good. One little boy just fed throughout the whole class but his mum was still happy to watch it all being demonstrated. yep it's proving to be a great enjoyment so far. I have to say that it wasn't that easy to get six mums though - so I am wondering how soon I should really run the next one? What do other people do or are you all very established already?

I am trying to run them in each half term so that it enables mums with other children to leave the older ones at school/ nursery soI didn't know whether to wait until after this easter holiday or the may holiday. Any thoughts? Thanks.
