Well I just lost my last post on this so hope this doesn't duplicate.

What is the extent of metal allergies and allergies to nickle? Is there any decent research?

Just imagine lots of people are allergic to money and wearing jeans etc due to nickle zips.

I hear that Jane Thurnall-Read has done some work on metal allergies and recommends the use of a hairdryer.

Are there any kinesiologists here that can enlighten us further?

Apparently one uses the engine part of it not the blower on the body; not sure how it all works hence why I am asking. The kinesiologist briefly mentioned it to me when I mentioned metal and nickel allergies so I don't have all the gen yet. Although I understand there is a mention of it on Jane Thurnall-Read's website. Haven''t had time to check it out yet and I thought the whole subject matter would be interesting to discuss here.

RE: Research on metal allergies

hello, sorry it's taken me so long to reply - I hadn't seen this post till Divine Love brought my attention to it.

It's a simple but rather strange self-help technique from health kinesiology can be used safely by anyone. An electric hair drier is used to degausse [demagnetise] the body. The hair drier is switched on and then the side of the motor is run over the whole of the body. This needs to be done on average once a week, or even more frequently for anyone who is particularly sensitive electrically. The whole procedure takes less than 5 minutes.

Some people are anxious about using a hair drier because they have been told that they should reduce their exposure to electrical equipment as much as possible. But here the alternating motor of the hair drier against the body is being used to demagnetise the body and so make it less susceptible to electro-magnetic pollution. This is not the way in which people normally use a hair drier!

Adults and children who are “addicted” to television or computer games, people who are susceptible to static electric shocks and those who develop headaches, etc. if they use computers seem particularly to benefit from this procedure.

Now the topic is about metal allergies, and I have observed with clients that people who wear a lot of metal jewellery often need this doing, as do people with a lot of dental fillings or piercings.

Hope that helps.
