I was inspired to check out this section because ofa new member's post who is studying iridology.

Learnedsome interesting info from the link you posted jbarry, but like ava says, it would be excellent if you could add a few words .....

I had a friend who turned to an iridologist when allother avenuesfailed him. He was finally diagnosed as having ME.Unfortunately he moved away, we lost touch and I never found out how successful the treatment was.

Has anyone else had any experience of iridology?

Has anyone else had any experience of iridology?

Iridology is used by most naturapaths in Australia, for diagnosis. In fact it is (well, 'was' since I've not lived in Australia for 10 years) used by most therapists-who-prescribe i.e. herbalists, naturapaths, nutritionists. I miss it here in the UK, and I get the feeling that the therapist is guessing when they diagnose what is going on. Clearly they aren't guessing. I found that iridology was remarkably accurate.

I practice Iridology in Staffordshire and it takes a lot of the guess work away from my treatment protocol. I often use it with consultation or to confirm diagnosis. It is amazingly accurate as it shows genetic strengths, weakness and potential pathways to disease. It also can tell current health status. Clients come out of a consulatation understanding themselves better and hopefully preventing future illness by changing their lifestyles accordingly. I encourage anyone to go and have a consultation!

I practise it on horses and am currently researching dogs and cats. I find it incredible as it 'tells' us what is going on on the inside. Obviously animals can not talk and it just gives me an indication as to what their physical issues may be and where to start internally. Incredible as a health MOT tool as you can pick up all sorts from fertility problems, behavioural issues to health problems.

Have you ever taken iris with iriscope, I have started to work as a iris practitioners 3 months ago and now I use software to analyze iris so as to make it easier.

However, i need Anatomy and Physiology as a prerequisite and would greatly appreciate if anyone can recommend the best, most widely acknowledged school in the UK which offers this as a couse and distance learning.

Im interested in asking you a Question do do you think I can help with a twishing hand . Its been 4 weeks and very worry. Doctors told me that im ok .. But the other day I felt my left side of my head twishing. . Please reply

Hi I was reading an article today on Iridology. Can you tell me though is there a governing body or an association where i might find a practioner local to where i am thanks
