Hello All!
I'm about to start training in kinesiology, but hope to continue learning different skills, and one that I keep coming back to is hypnotherapy.
Do you think that is a bad choice? I have a very strong interest in it, but I feel that it would make more sense to study acupuncture or herbalism as they seem to be more complimentary to the kinesiology.
Has anyone here trained in hypnotherapy in Ireland? I'm from Cork and would prefer to study as locally as possible if I do choose to study it. So if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know!
I hope that makes sense 😉
Thanks!
I think if your heart is in hypnotherapy then go for it 🙂
you can always go back to herbalism etc...hypnotherapy can be used for healing too so don't discount it
wishing you the best whatever you decide to do x
I've just completed a certificate in clinical hypnotherapy & thoroughly enjoyed it I hope to do the diploma course soon.
If hypnotherapy is something that interests you then why not give it a shot? The GHSC website lists an affiliated training centre in Cork:
Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy - 0035 32 1427 3575
Good luck with whichever way you decide to go!
Thank you very much for your replies, I appreciate it!
I think I'm going to contact the Cork Institute to find out a little more about the courses they offer etc. Can't do any harm to research it 🙂
Thanks again!
Hi
I trained in Hypnotherapy and then went on to train in 3 in 1 Concepts Kinesiology and they blend together beautifully in my opinion. However as you are probably aware there are a number of kinesiology modalities taught worldwide, all with a different focus, so although I can blend my two trainings I might be less inclined to use hypnotic techniques within a more structural branch of kinesiology.

Hi KinFed!
Somehow I missed your reply until just there now.
I'm doing systematic kinesiology... which I think is what you mean when you refer to structural?
It's funny, I really do keep moving between herbalism, hypnotherapy and acupuncture. One of the problems I guess is that I have experienced kinesiology/acupuncture/herbalism together in each session as a form of diagnosis/treatment, and have never experienced hypnotism. Hypnotherapy really fascinates me and I really want to learn more about it, buut I'm being strongly drawn towards herbalism because I know how it has helped me.
I've been reading alot about herbalism thanks to 'Staranise' and 'Angelic Light', and I know for sure that if I do herbalism I would go for the degree course. It seems like hypnotherapy can be studied over a shorter period of time which I suppose is a plus 🙂
My kinesiology training will take approximately 12 months, so it does give me time to think about what direction I'm going to go!
Thanks again for the reply 😀
