What are the benefits, if any of lighter and deeper trance? 1,000 words with quotes and references.
I have a bit of information but am struggling, any suggestions?

it depends on the person, what trance you need, also depends on the therapist and wether they believe the person is under if only do a light trance.
a lot of people i work with mainly men think that because they heard everything thing ie.. light trance it must have not worked, until i ask them how long have they been under, they say only 10 mins, i say try 50 mins...
some time a deep trance is good on more deeper issues, although what is a deep trance ?? not sure who you are studying with, i see students from LCCH and have been for the last 10 years.. so you should have the Big Red book (hammond) lots of stuff and all you need is in there.. need more help let me know.. Who are you studying with? Sounds like a bit of work for you - it'll be worth it when you're qualified! 🙂
I'd write a bit about the different levels of hypnosis - light trance to somnambulism - about the signs when someone is at that level of trance - that'll take up some of those words!
There's quite a good section about this in Ursula James' book - Clinical Hypnosis Textbook 2007.

Hi, I did my hypnotherapy training with Zodiac. I recognised that question! I didnt mind the first essay...the history of hypnotherapy...but this one was difficult. In the end all Alan wanted ( I think! ) was to hear that there was no more benefit to a deeper trance than the lighter trance. My essay was a bit short of 1,000 words too!
How are you finding the course?
I got there in the end and had a great comment on my essay. One of the best he had read on the subject! V. pleased as i wanst even sure if i was on the right lines. The course is great alan and bridgette are fab.
