If anyone is and has some advice please shout and tell me. I have been considering it for a while but nedd to get it right and make sure that I am happy with the course etc. Thanks

RE: Homeopathy training
Hi
i am currently studying homoeopathy in Birmingham, but if it were more practical, i would study at the Lakeland college of homoeopathy in Regents Park. I would recommend that you looked into it, you would most likely be able to sit in for a day to get a taster.
very best wishes with your secision

RE: Homeopathy training
Hello,
As a homeopath, my best advice to you would be that if you are serious about studying homeopathy, carefully look into all the colleges available. To become a registered homeopath you need to do a recognised course that's at least 3 yrs full time or 4 yrs part time, otherwise your hard earned qualification won't be recognised by the regulating bodies in the uk.
The society of homeopaths is the main regulating body and on their website you might find some college details. There is one college in Chichester, west sussex, on in Eastbourne, and several in London. They're all very different, e.g.-some emphasise a more energetic, holisticapproach, others do lots of exams(!), and their student clinic arrangements maydiffer- which can be important from a practical point of view.
Also, it's good to have some homeopathic treatment yourself-(in which case your homeopath may be able to help you).
If you can get on toany of the college websites, you'll find curriculum details etc. But it's a really personal thing as to which college would best suit you- and it's common for people to realise that they've gone to the 'wrong' one!
You can contact me off-board by email, if you want further details. Good luck!
