Hello all

I am about to start studying Homeopathy in September and we have been given our book list for the 4 years! The books are so so expensive does anyone have any ideas where to get them from or know of anyone that might be selling books to help keep the cost down?

Thanks

Hi

Why don't you try ebay and amozon as they both sell 'second hand' books.

Hope you find what you are looking for.

RE: Homeopathy Books!!

Yep Homeopathic books can be expensive!
Ebay can have some real gems so it's always worth keeping an eye on that. but they dont always ahve the books you want at the right time! Other specialist homeopathic book sites you might found useful are:

[link] http://www.bjainbooks.com [/link]
(these are both indian sites and the books are dirt cheap, although shipping may take a few weeks!)

- this ones american and the books are cheaper but you have to factor in postage

[link] http://www.serpentinabooks.com [/link] this ones british, i havent used them myself but they seem reasonable.

Hope that helps, enjoy your course!

Hi!
The best supplier I've used over the years is The Awesome Book Company based in Essex - contact Samantha on 07968 797760 who will help you with great prices. Good luck with your studies!

RE: Homeopathy Books!!

I bought my Materia Medica for £20 brand new. Can't remember the author though, but my homopeopath said it was one of the top ones.

You could try looking up (eg) Boericke, and see what sites come up.

Have you tried Green metropolis?
This is a great site, they run a book swap shop this means you join, and you can 'sell' your books to the site, (i think they even contribute towards your P&p when you sell them books), and every book they sell is £3.75 and some are even free p&p can you ask for more?!
They also do loads of subjects, including a few homeopathy, fiction, allsorts really
Its well worth a look:
