I have read where there is now a host of new remedies that are coming in to homeopathy - some probably not proved yet.
Has anyone experience in using bird remedies?

I assume you are using 'proved' in the homeopathic sense as 'provings' are how they determine what a substance can be used for. If they haven't been 'proved' how can they be remedies?
No idea - all it was I read on the internet that there are a load of new bird remedies that are being used and I guess so new they are not in any materia medica. Just was curious to know if anyone had used them
well, I guess it depends where you read it on the internet.
As we know, half the stuff we read on the internet is rubbish, either to try and influence people into buying things, or to incite action or suchlike.
Who is it that has come up with bird remedies in homeopathy?
What is their background in homeopathy?
What evidence have they got that these remedies are needed, in addition to the existing remedies out there?
I've not come across them myself, but they are clearly coming into the field...
Quick google...

ARe they safe to take do you think - it all reads pretty weird to me - I find it a bit creepy
Thanks for those links. Giles .......so they are remedies from birds feathers that HAVE been proved. They will be as safe as any other remedy.
wonder how I would cope then because I have a phobia of birds and their feathers

The remedies are just pills - white an anonymous like every other remedy. There would be nothing in them to trigger your phobia. You will not see either a bird or feathers. Chances are you wouldn't even know it WAS a bird remedy being prescribed unless you knew from the name what the remedy was. If you saw the name 'Canth ' or Apis' would you KNOW what they were made from? Yet they are ALSO from 'animal' sources that some peoples would go 'yuck' over, or indeed have a phobia about.....
Phobias are irrational fears that our subconscious mind uses to protect us - but in a very unhelpful way. The subconscious has to perceive a threat from something that looks/sounds/feels/smells like the original 'threat' to trigger the 'run awaaayyyyy' response.
Unless you have a phobia about white tablets I don't see a problem. And phobias can be cured......I have experience of curing phobias with one hypnotherapy session - using techniques any competent hypnotherapist will know.
