Hi, I went to a fascinating talk the other day on the Schumann resonance, which led me to wonder whether using music based on this (there's quite a lot downloadable from Amazon) would help people relax during holistic therapy sessions and would facilitate healing to take place.
One possible downside is that the sound could sound a bit odd/repetitive to people who didn't know what it was. I just wondered if anyone had tried this, and whether you'd noticed any effects/reactions (good or bad) as compared with normal relaxing-type background music.

Thanks a lot

Sarah

I have tracks with the Shumann resonance and other frequencies that are part of the Lifeflow series of entrainment products. I sometimes meditate with them, or have them playing in the background (though not used them during treatment sessions).

The ones I have, have the frequencies playing along with some other music or nature sounds etc. so there's nothing disturbing about them.

All Love and Reiki Hugs

432Hz is the key. This is the frequency of the universe.

I specilize in creating Soundscapes which use 432Hz. Whereas most music you hear uses a slightly different frequency and you will find is just won't have the same affect as music that uses 432Hz.
Its quite fascinating when you look into it.

How do you know this? I have also heard good things about Solfeggio harmonics...and they don't resonate at 432Hz as far as I know

I think sound can be very important. Giving reiki or doing qigong without the right sort of music would be incomplete somehow. I am always open to new suggestions for sound/music and am interested in how it has its effects

I'm glad you asked....Its truly fascinating when you delve into it.
Here is a link that can probably explain it better then me, and this particular website also has more information on Solfeggio.

I make it my job to know about these kind of things as I run my own music business which specilises in creating healing soundscapes at 432hz. 😀 Hope you find this website informative.

Glad I could help 😀

I know its a bit scientific and might not be everyone's thing, but I found it really interesting!!

Talking of 'Tuning Diamonds'...
You may also be interested to know that people who make Orgonite normally use 432Hz to tune their pieces. 😀

I've just looked at the article.
"432Hz music allows you to tune into the knowledge of the universe around us in a more intuitive way." - please define "knowledge of the universe".

Hi there, I didn't write the article in question, and I feel this quote is open to interpretation.
Personally, I believe that being aware of this scientific fact can open our minds to a lot more then we are aware of day-to-day. Similar to the state of deep meditation. It is easy for people to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life and forget to just take a step back and REALLY listen to the universe around us. As we know that as a species, we haven't even scratched the surface of what our brains are capable of comprehending and processing in the ways of knowledge, universal or otherwise.
But like I say, this is just my personal opinion, you may have a different opinion. 😀

What are your thoughts on this??

Jana, you said:

so, you are recommending the site. If the bit I was interested in is "open to interpretation" have you any views on how it could be interpreted?
My thoughts on it? Well, I can't really sort those out until I understand it.

I don't quite understand what you are wanting me to say. I can't make you understand or interpret something for yourself, that's something only you and your mind can do together. Happy thinking!

You clearly know something about this subject. Certainly more than I do. You recommended an article, which I read. I then had a question about it so, naturally, I asked you. If you don't know, fair enough. And if you don't want to help, also fair enough - although that begs the question, why post the link to the article in the first place?

I feel I have already answered your question about this subject above. Maybe it just needs a little more contemplation of your part. But, If you would really like to know more, perhaps the answers you seek are still out there for you to discover. There is plenty of other information on this subject on the internet, you may find some that will explain things on terms you may understand more. I'm sorry, i cannot explain things more clearly to you than I already have. I am not a scientist, but a humble music producer who uses this scientific knowledge, others have discovered, to apply to my Soundscapes.

YouTube seems to be experiencing issues at the moment (or is it my own laptop) but I can't seem to get any video to run although the rest of the page loads properly, so that I can't check and be certain - but I think this video called "Beings of Frequency" might give you more insight into the matter of Schumann Resonance (if it is the same one I watched already quite a couple of months ago).
