Hi all!

I have recently tried a Scenar therapy on myself - outside of UK. I liked the product, and am considering taking a training, however, after several days/weeks of research done on internet, I can't find a lot about this here in UK (apart from people selling it). I understand it is considered as a pain relief in UK, while it's been widely used in Russia and most recently in Australia for various conditions in hospitals too.

Just would like to know if there are any therapists on here that have or are using this device on day to day basis in their practice. And how many of you are here? Has it been a success with your clients? I found most people being skeptical about the device...

Any info on this is much appreciated!
Many thanks!

My psychotherapy supervisor, who is also a touch for health therapist, has been using Scenar for years. He is not a member of this forum as far as I know but if you like I could put you in touch with him, he is based in Manchester. I am aware he regularly attends Scenar conferences internationally and enthuses on this subject a lot!

Thanks Masha!

Sounds like he's all in for this device, that's good to hear! I think it will take few more years (despite it being here for a long time already) to be recognized and a well known "pain relief" therapy around UK.
Have you experienced the device yet Masha?

Hmm... think I will go with the training either way anyway 🙂 . For months I've been going through: Oh yes, definitely! It will be amazing, and so many more people I can help... and another minute I'd go: no... hmm... The main thing was the money being spent on the professional device itself. But hey, in a long run it will safe my hands and help people heal faster...

Anyone else that have any experience with this?

Yes I did have a session but can't say I've experienced anything amazing (but I am a hardened skeptic when it comes to anything new and it takes me a long time and a number of attempts before I "get it" or feel any significant effect with most of therapies/techniques etc).

I am not into gadgets generally, and in my experience EFT works so well for pain relief 99% of the time that I don't feel the need to use anything else (I am a wimp and don't tolerate any amount of pain, but in the last 8-9 years have only ever had painkillers once).

However if that's what excites you, go for it, and best of luck with the training 🙂
