I am off to do my first Pamper Event soon :-), I have several questions and hoping for some advice please.
Firstly couch? Do you use couch roll (its something I don't use at home, as personally I don't like it), at home I use towels which I change after each client, but I don't wish to take 10+ lots of towels with me, so suggestions please what is best for pamper events.
Treatments I will be offering Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Back Shoulder and Neck Massage, Thai Foot Massage...I thought about doing a one page consultation form then having another form with a list of do you have these medical conditions ? don't want anything too long winded...as its taster sessions
Do you tend to offer anyone who has had a taster session treatment a discount off a full priced treatment and if so what's the norm 20%?
The place where the pe is taking place is a club where they have activities like bingo, a bar, quiz etc with the treatments taking place in a separate room
any advice must appreciated 🙂 thanks

[COLOR="Blue"] If you have access to it, take a roll with you, but just use a couple of sheets for either feet or head per client. It's a pamper event - fast turnover - don't make unnecessary work for yourself.

I think you are over-stretching yourself. Is anyone else offering similar therapies, if so, choose the two you like the most and stick with that (but give out leaflets which outline your other treatments. Also, don't bother with any forms that require filling out - pens always walk! Have a laminated sheet listing major contra-indications - check with the person you intend to 'treat' that they have none of the conditions on the list, and get on with the treatment. Ask them to add their name and contact details (email address) to the list that you will have next to your couch (make sure that the pen is attached to the clipboard with a piece of string!!!)

I agree with Jabba - keep it as simple as possible re the paperwork. I have a sheet where I get them to sign give me a contact number/email address, brief details of any ongoing medical conditions and then I put which therapy I have given them. It takes about a minute to fill in
I use paper roll - but thats what I have been trained to use and it save me all that laundry.
I don't offer a discount if they book a further session with me - but what a good idea - I may just steal it!
Don;t expect to be busy all the time. At the pamper events I got to I have only had a handful of takers and I have never seen a therapist busy from start to finish. If I did 5 treatments that would be a good evening for me....
thank you for your replies 🙂
Treatments will be 20 minutes.
There will be another HT but we aren't offering the same treatments.
