Hey I just came on this website and I have no idea whether am posting this in the right place!
So my nose is totally blocked, i hardly breathe through my nose and I cant sleep or do any exercises since I breathe too fast. I've tried so many sprays prescribed by my doctor but nothing seems to work. I know I have sinusitis and allergy! I don't want to go on antibiotics anymore! I'm taking anti inflammatory and something for allergy.
I've been going through this for year, it turns on and off!
If someone knows any op i should be having or so please help!

hi yhefinavi, welcome here on hp
Google 'mudras for blocked nose'. There are some potent catarrh bursting ones that free your sinisitus, chest and respiratory tract.
'Ling mudra' is what I know will do you good in your situation. It is extremely effective part of yoga is easy to do, even while watching telly. But you might have to do it regularly for a few weeks. but you may see results within a few days
Well worth a go

YHefnawi - when I read that you have used a lot of sprays it rang alarm bells with me. Do you know that overuse of these sprays can cause nasal polyps, i.e. small growths forming at the top of your inner nostril.

Have you felt to see if you have them, e.g. placed a finger up and see if you can feel something jelly-like blocking the top of the nostrils? If you do have them and they are caught early, they can be frozen off (without the need for surgery). I have had many nasal polyps removed (they recur because of a rare genetic lung disorder that I have).
It is just a small operation (should you need this).

I am posting everywhere I can to tell my fellow sufferers about something that fixed my stage 3 polyps down to stage 1 in a week(though frankly I would say its stage zero if there were such a thing but I'm just going on what ENT guy wrote on letter to my GP)
The Nasonex had stopped working and I had become fully blocked up and I couldn't sleep and felt so distraught. Finally got appointment with ENT man, and went without much hope but he gave me this spray called Dymista, which sounds fairly innocuous. It contains an antihistamine together with the steroid, which again I didn't think would help as there didn't seem to be many antihistamines that helped me anymore. (Azelastine hydrochloride /fluticasone propionate ... I still can't see why it would have worked as the only new word in that list for me is Azelastine. )
It has a vile taste, so when you take it, lean forward like you have a nosebleed that you don't want to get on your clothes, otherwise you will taste it all day.
Ask your GP to try it on you
